I am currently in my final year of the MA program in Couples and Family Therapy at Seattle University. Previously, in my work as a Counseling psychologist, I have found joy and purpose in working with children, young adults and parents for over 6 years, which included developing workshop modules on Mindfulness and social emotional learning, in addition to in-person counseling. I now look forward to expanding this work with couples and families as well. I love being creative in the therapy room and enjoy incorporating art and music as elements of self-expression in the session.
Apart from mental health, you are likely to find me humming a tune or playing a game of squash!
I believe that no matter where we are from in this world, as humans we are united in our need to feel seen, safe, heard, accepted and understood. In my opinion no problem is big or small if it adds distress to our lives and no life story deserves harsh judgement.
As your therapist, it will be my intention to serve you by being a collaborative partner in your journey. I promise to be non-judgmental, present and caring as you undertake your journey of healing and growth. My work will involve bringing awareness and attention to your internal climate to facilitate this journey. I resolve to look for stories of bravery, courage and resilience and act as a mirror to show you your strengths and re-author your story.
I accept most Washington State Insurance Plans as well as an out of network rate of $40 per hour.
